Funding to access sovereign AI compute
A Government of Canada program, delivered in partnership with ISAIC, to help eligible companies access the compute they need to scale.
Eligibility
Who can apply
Incorporated in Canada
Fewer than 500 full-time employees
Revenue generation or Series A financing
Have a Canada-based research and development (R&D) team
Develop AI products/services with a commercialization strategy
Have an existing AI compute service agreement in place
Funding
How much is available
Minimum $100,000 to maximum $5 million, over up to three years
• Covers two-thirds of your costs (up to $3.35 million) for Canadian cloud-based AI compute services
• Covers half of your costs (up to $2.5 million) for non-Canadian cloud-based AI compute services
